One of the most compelling issues in our communities is the threat of uncertainty caused by addiction. I discovered that it will require mega-action by everyone in our communities to repair the broken healthcare and social service systems and restore our nation and international communities to a state of vitality and advantage. Because I have long been dedicated to eradicating addiction the idea of forming a Learning Community was particularly attractive in terms of effecting change on an exponential scale. As a community leader I found that we need a new lens through which we can share a clear and unique perception of social issues like addiction and the devastation it causes in each layer of our communities - our families, schools, workplaces, and government. My commitment to creating healthy communities and a green environment is endless.
Building addiction-free zones, supersaturating our society with information, treating those disabled by addiction, and preventing our next generation from vulnerability will act as building blocks for change on a global scale. Our goal is to restore each individual to a state of well-being and leverage that personal achievement for community benefit across the globe.
Eradicating addiction is a project that seems insurmountable. What we anticipate, however, is widespread commitment to cleaning up our world and beginning with removing drugs from our society. In the process other social issues will surface under our lens and we can focus on solving them concurrently.
I personally welcome you and encourage you to move forward with us.
Sincerely,
Brandon Beckman MBA,CATC,CDS
